Where you’ll be

Our Villa Santorini was built in 2019 and is located on the Cape Haze peninsula in Southwest Florida – just a few minutes from the sparkling Gulf of Mexico. The house is lovingly furnished in a European-Mediterranean style and offers approximately 2,100 sq. ft. of living space with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay in the Sunshine State: three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a heated pool, a garage, air conditioning, cable TV, washer and dryer, complimentary high-speed internet, a gas grill—and much more. The house is situated on a spacious double lot directly on a lake, surrounded by fascinating Florida flora and fauna. The early morning hours are especially magical, when the sun rises across from the patio and nature comes to life—the perfect start to a new and wonderful day in Florida.

The Villa

The heart of our villa is the spacious central living area with an open, fully equipped kitchen and modern Samsung appliances – ideal if you enjoy cooking. The bedrooms feature king- and queen-size beds as well as plenty of pillows, blankets, and bed linens for maximum comfort. You will also have access to two fully equipped bathrooms – with bath and beach towels, a hair dryer, a vanity mirror, and either a bathtub or shower.

As you enter the house, you are welcomed by high ceilings, generous space, and natural light through the large windows. On the left, a cozy seating area with a leather sofa set invites you to relax – including a 50" HDTV entertainment center for quiet evenings. The granite island kitchen offers plenty of space for preparing and enjoying meals. It is equipped with a 5-burner ceramic cooktop, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher as well as a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with water and ice dispenser.

On the right, somewhat set apart from the entrance and living area, is the open dining area, which comfortably seats 6 to 7 guests. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sunset. At the other end of the house, a cozy reading or breakfast nook with two comfortable armchairs invites you to linger. Through the large corner panoramic window, you can look out over the pool, the sunny patio, and the peaceful lake beyond.

Spacious Comfort – Indoors and Out

In the left wing of the house, you will find the private master suite with a comfortable king-size bed and plenty of storage space for clothing and personal belongings. The adjoining bathroom is filled with natural light and features two sinks, a toilet, and a large walk-in shower. In the right wing of the house is the guest area with two additional bedrooms and a bright bathroom with a bathtub and toilet. One of the guest bedrooms is furnished with a king-size bed, the other with a queen-size bed – both offering plenty of storage space. In one of the guest bedrooms, you will find an additional 42" TV; the other has connection options available. Streaming is available on all devices and throughout the house. For our youngest guests, we are happy to provide a baby travel crib (Pack 'n Play) as well as a high chair upon request.

Outdoor Living at Its Best

You can access the outdoor area (patio), which is protected by a cage from insects and strong sunlight and surrounds the heated pool, through large sliding doors from the living area, the master bedroom, or the guest bathroom. The covered patio offers a dining and lounge set with seating for six as well as comfortable sun loungers with cushions and a cozy sitting area with a coffee table – perfect for relaxing and sunbathing. Thanks to the panoramic design of the white cage, you can enjoy unobstructed views of the lake and garden – without annoying bars getting in the way. The perfect place to unwind and let your soul relax.

Extras for Your Stay

In the double garage, which is directly accessible from the house and offers plenty of space for a full-size car or SUV, you will have access to 3 bicycles for your use free of charge. You will also find beach equipment such as folding chairs, beach umbrellas, tools for collecting shells and shark teeth, as well as toys for little ones

Villa Santorini is our dream come true – a heartfelt tribute to our favorite island, Santorini in the Greek Cyclades.

Amenities

Getting around

As is common in the U.S., having a car is essential, as there is very little public transportation outside the larger towns. Taxis are also fairly rare. However, Uber is an alternative that works quite well in this area. The road network and infrastructure are excellent. Biking is quite popular, and many roads have separate bike lanes. Boats can be rented in many places. In Florida, a traditional boating license is usually not required, although depending on the type of boat and your year of birth, an approved boater safety certificate may be required.

Neighborhood

Our villa is located in Rotonda Heights — a community with spacious, low-density development on the northwestern edge of the Rotonda Circle. It is just a few minutes from the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico. Grocery stores, restaurants, golf courses, parks, beautiful beaches, and much more are all just minutes away.
